How would the composition change if one or more lines were removed?
Removing lines from a composition could possibly evoke a sense of brokenness or disruption. If done in an organized way it could also be seen as a form of organization of space.

You create a altered, unnatural image of reality that is surreal from reality.

I enjoy Karin Sander's Bernhard J. as it seems to take a playful stab at sculpture using an unassuming figure figure model as the subject for a well orchestrated digitally and mechanically manufactured object completely ridden of human interaction and yet still existing in an almost purely conceptual state.
