Response Paragraph 4-6-15

Hito Steyerl's "In Defense of the Poor Image" gives examples of what images go through, which may be why there are so many images with poor quality circulating. He defends the images; art can still be great and meaningful even though they aren't high quality. I've never thought about how much images can be seen, altered, saved, resized, etc. before they appear on my screen. We are a image driven society, but we always look for the best quality in our images; We never stop to look at images of poor quality.
