Homework 3-20-15

Which is more appropriate for your idea: a flat design or a spatial design?
My idea would work better with a flat design, so the viewer can just focus on the main subject, with no distractions in the background.                            What happens when static (unmoving) and dynamic (moving) shapes are used together in a design?
A dynamic space is created and the piece becomes more interesting.                            Choose one artist in the reading who you feel was most successful in their use of motion and space and write
                           you comments on him/her.
Thomas Eakins "Double Jump" perfectly shows motion in a rectangular space. You can see the motion through the use of blur and the space is symmetrically filled with the jumping boy.
